Create your account
Sign up for a new AskPhi account using your name, username, email, and a password.
Before you start
- A valid email address.
- A username you'll remember — you'll use it to sign in.
Steps
- Open AskPhi and click Register at the bottom of the sign-in form. You'll arrive at the Sign Up page.
- Fill in the form:
- Name — your full name (2–50 characters).
- User name — must be lowercase, 3–30 characters, start with a
letter, and contain only letters, numbers,
.,_, or-. - Email Address — used for password resets and notifications.
- Password — at least 6 characters.
- Click Sign up.
If everything checks out, AskPhi creates your account and signs you in automatically. The next screen invites you to Create your organization — see Create an organization or click Skip to use AskPhi alone.
Username rules in detail

Troubleshooting
- "Registration failed" — the email or username is already taken. Try a different one or sign in instead.
- "Could not sign you in after registration" — your account was created but auto-sign-in didn't work. Click the Sign in link and use the credentials you just chose.
- Validation errors — read the red text under each field. Most issues are caused by uppercase letters or spaces in the username.
