Send invitations

Send organization invitations from the Members page or right after creating an organization.

There are two places where you can send invitations:

  1. Right after you create an organization — the post-create flow shows an Invite your team screen.
  2. Any time later — from the management area's Members page.

Both produce the same result: the recipient gets an email with a link.

Before you start

  • You're an admin or owner (capability: org.members.invite).
  • The email addresses of the people you want to invite.

From the post-create flow

After creating an organization, AskPhi automatically opens the Invite your team screen.

  1. Type one email per row.
  2. Click Add another email to add more rows.
  3. Click the trash icon on a row to remove it.
  4. Click Send invitations. AskPhi takes you to the chat home and shows a confirmation toast.

If you'd rather skip, click Skip at the top.

From the Members page

  1. Open the management area and go to Members (/manage/members).
  2. Click Invite members in the top-right corner of the table.
  3. A modal dialog opens. Enter one email per row.
  4. Click Send invitations.

What happens next

For each recipient:

  1. They receive an email with a link https://app.askphi.com/invitations/<token>.
  2. Opening the link shows the invitation details (organization, role, expiry, who invited them).
  3. They click Accept invitation (or Decline).
  4. On accept, they become a member with the role specified.

You'll see them in the Members list after they accept.

Invitation states

StateWhat it means
PendingThe recipient has not yet responded.
AcceptedThey joined; you'll see them in Members.
DeclinedThey explicitly declined. Send a new invitation if you want them in.
ExpiredThe link expired before they responded. Send a new invitation.
note

Today, the Members page shows current members only. To track outstanding invitations or resend, contact your AskPhi admin or support — a dedicated invitations panel is on the roadmap.

Tips

  • Invite in batches when onboarding a new team — easier than chasing each individual.
  • Spell-check email addresses before clicking Send invitations. A typo means a wasted email.
  • Tell teammates which inbox the invitation will arrive at — corporate spam filters sometimes hold AskPhi mail.
