Quick answers to questions users ask most often about AskPhi.
What kinds of files can I upload?
Only CSV today (.csv extension, comma-separated, with a header
row). Excel files must be saved as CSV first. See
Upload a CSV.
How big can my CSV be?
Up to 10,000 data rows (the header row doesn't count). There's no strict megabyte limit, but very wide files (many columns) may render slowly in the editor.
Can I upload files in any language?
Yes — AskPhi accepts any UTF-8 text. Names, addresses, and labels in non-English languages work. The AI's reply, however, will usually match the language of your question.
Will AskPhi share my data with anyone?
Your data stays inside the AskPhi workspace. AskPhi sends your questions and the relevant rows to the AI provider you select (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic) so the model can answer. Talk to your admin or our privacy page for full details.
Can I edit my CSV after uploading?
Yes. Open the data editor for any file. You can edit individual cells, add rows, or append another CSV.
How do chat sessions relate to files?
Each session is bound to one file. Multiple sessions can point to the same file — useful when you want different conversations on the same dataset (e.g. one for sales review, one for forecasting).
Can the AI answer without a file?
No. AskPhi is designed to be grounded in your data. Without a selected file, you can't create a session.
How do I switch organizations?
Today, AskPhi assigns one active organization automatically. A self-serve switcher is coming. Until then, see Switch organization.
How do I leave an organization?
Ask an admin to remove you. There is no self-serve "leave" button yet. You will fall back to personal mode after removal.
What's the difference between an admin and a member?
Admins can invite and remove members, change settings, and view organization analytics. Members can use AskPhi and view their own analytics. See Permissions & roles.
Why don't I see Organization storage / Organization tokens?
You probably don't have the matching capability
(org.analytics.storage / org.analytics.tokens). Ask your owner to
upgrade your role.
What does "tokens" mean in the analytics?
Each AI message uses input tokens (your text + context) and produces output tokens (the reply). Different models charge different per-token rates; analytics shows raw counts.
Are charts inside chats interactive?
Yes — they're built with Plotly. Hover for values, drag to zoom, toggle a series in the legend, or download a PNG. See Read AI responses & graphs.
Can I download a chart or chat as PDF?
PNG download is built into the chart toolbar. Full session export to PDF is on the roadmap.
How does light vs dark mode work today?
A toggle is coming. Until then, set the theme manually using
localStorage. See Light & dark mode.
I forgot my password — what now?
Use Forgot password. You'll receive a 4-digit OTP by email.
I got an OTP code but it doesn't work.
Codes expire fairly quickly. Click Resend on the verification screen to get a fresh one. The cooldown between resends is 3 minutes.
Where do I see my own usage?
Open /manage/analytics/storage and /manage/analytics/tokens, or
click View my analytics on your profile
when in personal mode.

How do I sign out?
Where can I report a bug or request a feature?
Tell your AskPhi admin or contact support directly. Include the page URL, browser, a screenshot, and the time the issue happened.
