Switch organization

How AskPhi picks your active organization and what to expect when it changes.

AskPhi shows the active organization in the sidebar's coloured "Organization" link near the top. Today AskPhi assigns your active organization automatically — there is no in-app dropdown to change it.

How AskPhi picks your active organization​

  1. If you've just signed in, AskPhi loads your profile and uses the organization the server returns.
  2. If you've just created an organization, that becomes the active one.
  3. If you accepted an invitation, you're added to the new organization and the next time AskPhi reloads your profile you may see it as active.

What changes when the active organization changes​

I want to be in a different organization​

If you belong to multiple organizations and the wrong one is active:

  1. Open your profile → Organization tab.
  2. Confirm the organization shown is the one you expected.
  3. If a multi-org switcher hasn't shipped yet, contact an admin or AskPhi support — they may need to adjust your default on the server.

A self-serve organization switcher is on the roadmap. Until then, please ask your admin if you need to act in a specific organization.

Leaving an organization​

You can't leave an organization yourself today. Ask an admin to remove you. Once removed, you'll fall back to personal mode the next time AskPhi loads your profile.

Troubleshooting​

  • The wrong organization is active — refresh the page. If it persists, sign out and back in.
  • Old data still showing after a switch — refresh; some lists are cached for a minute.
  • You don't see a management link even though you're an admin — AskPhi is still loading your profile. Wait a few seconds and refresh.
